Blog Blessing

" BLOG BLESSING"

Hearken as the Witch's word
calls the Lady and the Lord.
Moon above and Earth below
Sky's cool blue, and Sun's hot glow.
*
In this right and ready hour
fill these pages with thy power.
May no unprepared eye see
the secrets which entrusted be.
*
To I who walk this hidden road
to find the hearthstone's calm abode.
Guardians from the four directions
hear me now and lend thy protection.
*
May these truths of Earth and Skies
sheilded be from prying eyes.
But to the Witches whose map this be,
may the way be plain to see;
and through the coming ages,
may we find home in these pages.
*
As I will, So mote it be.

Merry Meet!!!

Merry Meet Friends!!! ...and Welcome!!!
I am Crafty Chick, and welcome to my blog. Pull up a comfy chair, and grab a cup of coffee (or tea), and make yourself comfortable. I have so much to share with you!
I am a Crafty Mama of 2 kids, a Massage Therapist, and an Eclectic Solitary Witch. Although I really enjoy group ritul , and the sense of community that covens can provide; I feel that without solitary study and strength, one cannot posses the personal power needed to continue in this craft. I believe that many wonderful experiences are to be had in the group environment, and this can be a great source of fellowship, found almost nowhere else in modern day, urban life. Yet, the knowledge and power must always reside within the self, in order to contribute to the group, and also to serve the Witch when she/he is alone.
This is one of the reasons that I am sharing myself with you through my blog. I hope that this can be a safe space where other Pagans and Witches, solitary or not, can come to learn, share and cultivate their craft, wherever you are on your path. After all, isn't that one of the Mysteries? That knowledge known is just that, but knowledge lived and shared becomes wisdom. So here I am, to share my ideas, dreams, and knowledge with you, in the hopes that I too may grow further.
This is a blog mainly for Pagans and Wiccans to enjoy, but anyone from any faith is welcome to be here, of course. My only prerequisite is that you come in love and openness. Please do not try to stifle or ridicule others for their beliefs, of lack of. We are all growing and learning. I believe that if God or Goddess has brought you here, then there may be something for you to share, or to learn.
So, now I will close out this first post, with a warm welcome, and thank you to all who have found this. I send out the open invitation to share your bits & pieces here, and to return often. Again, I welcome any and all contributions!
