Good Morning Blog World! I have a bit of fun news to share.
I won not 1... but 2 Blog Giveaways this week! Such a delightful burst of sunshine in my otherwise ordinary week; and I am tickled to no end.
These are my first 2 contest or blog giveaways that I have won on-line! And they come at such a great time, because I have been a little down in the dumps lately when I think about this Halloween.
Even though I have been doing a stellar job of thinking positive and giving thanks for what I do have...I have been a bit bummed that because of my leg injury, I opted to cancel our Halloween Party, I haven't been able to shop for any new Halloween Goodies to add to the collection, I haven't had the energy to get into all of the Halloween craft pojects I usually do AND I am going to miss this years Trick or Treating!!!
So trust me when I say that "I REALLY needed this kind of happy news!"
Without further ado... Let me introduce you to my first Halloween Giveaway prize, an adorable little gal named Artfull Alice. Alice is a wee little Witch, made of Polymer Clay, wire and paint. She was welcomed into our home yesterday afternoon by Makayla & me, and we think she will be very happy to stay and play here with all of our other happy little Halloween friends.
A big THANK YOU to D. Supliki for making and sending her to us; and another big THANK YOU to Mrs. B for hosting this incredible givaway. You Ladies rock!

My 2nd giveaway prize was The Tome Of Ill Wonder; a super spooky altered book creation. The cover of the old tome sports a macabre grin, and if you are a truly brave soul, and that doesn't scare you away- upon opening it you will discover a hidden skull!
The neato thing about winning this one- is that I am beginig to add spookier stuff to my ever growing Halloween collection. Up untill about last year, I generally kept to the whimsical and joyful side of Halloween. But as my kids are growing up (9& 6) I am finally able to layer in the creep fator as well. In fact... THEY are the ones who have ben demanding it! I would have been fine with sticking to the happy Witches, Pumpkins and Ghosts. I think Black Ravens, Crows and Cats were the spookiest things I gravitated to! Oh... and Skulls & Skeletons; but they make them so cute nowadays, that they hardly count as truly frightening. I mean... even Zombie Dolls are adorable!

This peice of art was created and given away by the King of Horror- King Unicorn; and the giveaway was hosted by his Creepy Cronie- Grim of Grim Visions. THANKS GUYS!!!
So my friends...thats about it for now. I just wanted to get these photos and Thank Yous posted before I got real busy with the day's business. I wish all of you the same good luck & happy surprises! I now bid you adieu...~Danae <(:o) the Crafty Chick
